Privacy Policy

Effective August 2, 2026

This policy explains how Lensically handles information connected with its website, commercial software purchases, protected downloads, support, and related operations.

Information we collect

Lensically does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe processes payment information under its own policies.

How information is used

Information is used to verify payments, issue and protect downloads, record commercial licenses, prevent abuse and fraud, provide support, diagnose defects, secure the service, maintain operational records, enforce purchase and license terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be handled by providers required to operate the service, including Stripe for payment processing, Cloudflare for hosting and security, GitHub for private release storage and software operations, and other infrastructure providers used by Lensically. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights or security, or as part of a lawful business transfer. Lensically does not sell personal information.

Retention

Short-lived download tokens expire automatically. Purchase, license, accounting, fraud-prevention, support, and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, legal compliance, dispute handling, enforcement, and legitimate operational needs.

Security

Lensically uses access controls, encrypted provider secrets, payment-session verification, short-lived download authorization, private release storage, and operational logging. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

Privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests may be sent to support@lensically.com. Identity verification may be required before account- or purchase-specific information is disclosed or changed. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or license-enforcement purposes.

Third-party customer deployments

Lensically Operator for Threads is customer-owned software. A purchaser’s own deployment, accounts, content, users, and connected services are controlled by that purchaser and are subject to the purchaser’s policies and the policies of the applicable third-party providers.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the product and legal requirements develop. Material revisions will be reflected by a new effective date.
